Hey guys, I am a FM streamer over on Twitch and during the BETA of FM17 I have created this interesting narrow 4-2-3-1 tactic I wish to share with you all. I managed Liverpool to create this, being inspired by Jurgen Klopp's hard working, very fluid philosophy, and have achieved a pleasing on the eye result.

The Tactical Shape



As you can see, the tactic uses 3 AMC's behind a Defensive Forward, the philosophy being an interchanging, fluid, aggressive, attacking front 4. Wingbacks on Support duty providing some width while in possession but without getting to the byline at every opportunity...

This tactic is a more attacking variation of my 4-2-3-1 V2.0 tactic. It can be used alone with great attacking record or it can be used together with the tactic mentioned above for more overall stability and options.

As the tactic it is based off, this one is also built from the front to the back, but this time with 2 Advanced Forwards that spearhead attacks. On this on there is no Shadow Striker making it for slightly less possession but more firepower. Helping them are 2 Inside Forwards with support duty, they will cut inside either dragging the fullbacks with them or creating chaos on...

If you're struggling with injuries or if you feel the game is unrealistic for you in that regard, this FM 2017 database is what you need to encounter 50% reduced occurrence of injuries in your save.

How to apply less injuries on FM 2017

1. Move the downloaded .fmf file to:

4-3-1-2 Gamebreaker - What to expect

Fueled by pure hatred of the dominance 4-2-3-1 tactics, I decided to try and break them. Using a patient, narrow, short passing possession based style. I have received staggering results with this one and I will share them with you.

This strategy marches down the centre of the pitch and a cold methodical way. Quick passes in a tight space with many options for the person in possession due to the amount of bodies in a small area. 90+ goals with West Ham after one season using this. Quite possibly a game breaker.

Football Manager 2017 Base Skins

As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2017 you need to create a new skin.

So to make things easier for people michaeltmurrayuk has put up some base skins that are identical to the default skins that come with the game, so you can add new files/graphics to these without messing up the original skins, and anything that isn't located in these new skin folders will be taken from the default locations within the game.

Hey guys, this is the second time I submit this tactic to the site, after a very successful spell in FM15 with over 35k downloads. It has always been particularly effective for me, especially in this early beta, so I felt inspired to submit it (again), so here it is the almighty SPEARHEAD (2.0)!

I wouldn't tag this a LLM tactic guys, it's very high paced so players with low stamina may feel to perform after several minutes/hours into the game. You want highly technical AMs, some work rate doesn't hurt either - for everyone except the AF, I've had low work rate AFs score loads.

The national teams of Germany and Japan have fake players in Football Manager 2017 due to licensing issues that Sports Interactive and SEGA have been unable to resolve through the years.

As a result there are certain files within the FM17 installation folders that prevent you from managing the aforementioned national teams and also exclude real players showing up in their rosters.

Fixing this problem is as simple as deleting these files, but you will have to start a new save-game for the fix to take effect.

This is the biggest English database available to play for Football Manager 2017.

You can manage a club 22 leagues down the English football pyramid, which is insane. By the time you reach Premier League (assuming you can win consecutive promotions every year), all real players would be retired and you'd be in a fantastic football world filled with regens.
