This is my first time playing FM and I've only been playing for 2-3 weeks so I'm not the most experienced player so I might miss out information that other people may usually say in these tactic posts but I'll try my best to explain things.

I'm a type of person who believes that a tactic that could meet all the requirements of how to win a game which is basically good defense and good offense with good possession is a good tactic. Hence my tactic foundation I chose is 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1 that has support in every part of the field and in both defense or offense.

Tactic is built from the front to the back, so starting off with an Advanced Forward, pretty self explanatory, lonely man sitting up front waiting to be served. Behind him a Shadow Striker that will both feed him and get goals on the spaces the AF gets for him when he drags the opposing defenders. Helping them are 2 Inside Forwards with support duty, they will cut inside either dragging the fullbacks with them or creating chaos on the center-backs, this will again give the SS more liberty.

Hello guys.

After more than a year, I have finally managed to make successful tactic that is worth to share it with you. I have tried many things in this year's FM. Four defenders, unsuccessful, five defenders, same thing. Then I told myself, if Conte can do it in real life, why shouldn't I do it in virtual.

This tactic first started as 3-4-3 and was successful, but then i decided to put only one striker and two AMC. I started using this tactic while in Norwich and easily won Championship with 100 pts, 20 pts more than 2nd placed Newcastle.

Forcing a possible match exploit in the FM17 match engine. A strikerless system playing possession and attacking football while counter attacking? Sounds odd but it really gets results.

After initially trying to build a 3-4-3, we tried it without traditional strikers and discovered this system. High Possession football. High up the pitch centrally waiting for a mistake from the other team and capitalizing on that with a through-ball or cut back from the byline.



Shadow Strikers require High Physical Stats, Aggression, Workrate and Longshots.

This is the tactic that Manchester United's coach Jose Mourinho uses in the English Premier League, UEFA Europa League, The FA Cup, The Community Shield and the EFL Cup.

I have done research on the latest Manchester United tactics and I tried to build the team exactly as it was in real life. The only change I've made is that I switched to a control system than the classic Mourinho's defensive approach because I found that it works better this way. However, it's still similar because every attack begins from the defence.

I have made a whole new kind of super league. Almost all other Superleagues are made up by leagues, where the teams are grouped by their reputation, this one is different because it is build up so the whole top league from the 34 top country’s in Europe. So it is a League of Leagues pyramid.

This is how it is build up:
