Welcome to the third lesson in Tactical Development Workshop. Today, forget everything you have learnt so far about full backs.

If I ever had the freedom of building my dream squad in Football Manager certainly I'd start by buying world-class full backs. In all AI game systems I’m familiar with, full backs can clinch our advantage in attack and have a decisive role in stopping aggressive opposition wing players dead in their tracks.

So this took months longer than I anticipated but the new version of TCS (v1.4) has finally been released and in my humble opinion it’s the best version I’ve ever released!

Started in late 2013 with facepacks in Gz12 style, I have delivered new packs every single season since then. The style has evolved slightly, but the pictures format (action) and quality remain the same.

This is the first time I'm sharing my work on fmscout.

Welcome to the 2017 version of my action facepack.

I have made a whole new kind of super league. Almost all other Superleagues are made up by leagues, where the teams are grouped by their reputation, this one is different because it is build up so the whole top league from the 34 top countries in Europe. So it is a League of Leagues pyramid.

This is how it is build up:

Premier Elite League:

48 teams from Spain and Germany. Divided into 2 groups with 24 teams in each. Each team only plays each other once, and then the top 6 from both groups goes into a champion’s playoff. Teams 1 and 2 in both groups step in 2. Round, and the team’s 3-6...

So for anyone looking for a new save on FM17, I'm going to run you through a little guide for Manchester United. Recently United haven't exactly been the United of old. Since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, they have failed to finish in the top 3. United had a disappointing time under David Moyes, a mixed run under Louis Van Gaal that culminated in an FA Cup win. Jose Mourinho was appointed in the summer and he made a big statement, with the free transfer signing of legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and of course the world record deal to bring Paul Pogba back to the club.

Sports Interactive have released a tiny hotfix to update the in-game Twitter to work with the latest version.

Released: 6 July 2017

As always the update is save game compatible.

To update you will need to close the game down and re-launch for it to update. If this does not work for you or you feel it has not updated you will need to restart Steam.
Even if that doesn't do the trick, then verify the game cache will.
