Welcome to a list I am putting together with clubs I think will offer great saves on FM19. Picking a team can always be hard so I’ve tried to balance having a good short term save with some good longer term saves.

From a Youth Development project to a side that needs an overhaul or even just a team that’s fallen on hard times, football can offer everything and in Football Manager 2019 we’ll see teams that offer all these different kind of saves and so much more.

The greatest striker you never heard of, was a phenomenon in CM 01/02, even if the scouts got his name wrong. Maksim Tsyhalka as he was named at birth, was the classic ‘fox in the box’.

The “Champions League skin” is now back with a version adapted for FM 2018.

This skin is optimized for HD resolutions (resolution of 1920x1080 windowed and full screen).

I created this skin for my personal use and it has been tested mainly in HD resolution, there will be NO low(er) resolution version available (or made by me) and other resolutions are not supported.

Key attributes for all players are: Determination, Work rate, Teamwork, Speed, Passing and First touch.

You can drop the attacking wingers back a spot to make it less attacking. You can also change the mentality to Control when you're more in the underdog position.

Below you can find some screenshots of the results in my first season with Arsenal in which I won the Premier League and the Europa League.

New tactic in my "Control The World" series, as always inspired by Pep Guardiola.

I've tested this with Man City and Barcelona with great results. I wouldn't recommend using this with lesser teams.

Every player should use short passing, except the Advanced Playmaker (on attack duty) because he's the assist machine.

Refer to my diagram of strong foot preference to get better results.

Training

Use 2 weeks tactical, 1 week ball control and 1 week attacking. However, this comes down to the analysis of your squad and periodic performance analysis of areas your team might struggle with....
