How to install TheFMEditor 2016 Update to FM16

1. Move the downloaded .fmf file to:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\editor data\
   Create folder "editor data" if it doesn't exist already.


2. Run Football Manager 2016 and start new save with this database enabled.


3. It's highly recommended to disable "Do not Add Key Staff" and enable "Add Players to Playable Teams" in advanced options.
   


4. It's also recommended to load all players from the UK & Ireland region using the Advanced... Database Size options.

I am proud to announce a huge breakthrough in Football Manager 2016. Trophies.

We always wanted more and we can now have Real Trophies for all nations in the game.
IMHO this is massive as we have always wanted more than the handful of trophies Sports Interactive provided.

The whole pack has now had a complete overhaul, all images have been re-sized, all cuts have been tidied up or replaced plus new Trophies added.
It is for this reason the old links have been removed and replaced with one new one, I recommend anyone who downloaded the original to download again to make sure you have the best pack possible and delete the old previous version.

The whole pack has now reached 260 Trophies.

If you want to add to the pack feel free.
Look for the trophies which are missing and cut them out (if you can).
I have some cutting skills but would rather not do it myself.

Expand your PMSC Facepack for long term saves with the PMSC Pic-Generator.
We start with 1.140 pictures in size 180x180px to differ those pics to the original facepack.
Some pictures can be recurred in the beginning.

Installation

Extract the rar folder.

1. Pic Generator

Save the original hair folder and put in the folder from the download.

Clear cache and close the game. In some cases steam has to be closed, too.
Run the game, everything should work now.


2. Alternative staff pictures
If you prefer realistic pictures for your staff:
The user BigBoss 96 has collected more than 350 staff pictures.
Those pictures have to be named to the ingame shown ID and have to be put in the PMSC Megapack.
Renew the config xml.

I created the first logos of this pack for the footbe project, which is a football predictions service that Eugene (GS author) initiated 2 years ago. I wanted to make them available for Football Manager since then, but I kept postponing until I had more logos made. The concept behind them is 3-fold:

• use the same shape for all
• simplify the original version
• keep it recognizable when small

We wanted uniform logos that would look great inside our app. FM is an app, so that pretty much applies to it as well.

After a LOT of requests from fmscout members who had seen my work there, the time has finally come to release my logopack for everyone to enjoy.

How to add footbe logos on Football Manager 2016

1. Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract its contents.


2. Move the extracted contents to your graphics folder:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\logos\
   Create folders "graphics" and "logos" if they don't exist already.
   If you're installing an updated version, simply overwrite everything.


3. Run Football Manager 2016 and go to Preferences > Interface:
   Disable Using caching to decrease page loading times
   Enable Reload Skin when confirming changes in preferences
   Hit the Confirm button

FAQ

Can I request new logos?
Sure. Post a comment below with your requests, but please understand it might take a while until I release a new version.

What if I don't like a logo?
Feel free to express your opinion about my work. I'll try to use your feedback to improve my logos.

Is there a template I can use to make my own logos in this style?
Actually there isn't. I create all logos from scratch. There's just a white shape I begin with.

I want to help make more logos for this pack.
Thanks, but no thanks. This is a pack I don't want any help with. Unless you're Patres10 (head of the fmscout gfx team), it's highly unlikely I'll accept your creations for inclusion in my pack.

This pack is small. When will you make a megapack with thousands of logos?
Probably never. I'll keep making new logos and releasing new versions from time to time, but don't expect to see thousands of logos here. It's not easy to create the logos in this style, which makes the process rather slow.

Our scope style facepack includes over 77,800 faces of players, staff and referees for all playable leagues on Football Manager 2016.
It's a sleek and modern circular portrait style in standard size of 180 x 180 pixels.
It is intended for use with FM16, but it will work with all versions of the game from FM09 onward.

Scope style is originally created by fmscout.com and its production started in February 2012.

This megapack was made possible in association with the amazing people who produce the DF11 facepacks. THANKS to necjeff for granting his permission to use their top notch collection as base for this megapack.

How to add the Scope Faces Megapack to FM16

Download the Update Packs

For our update packs we'll be following the DF11 release schedule, so you can expect us to have an update pack ready shortly after DF11 publish their own. The updates between the 2 styles will include the same pictures, but we'll make sure to include some extras with every new pack.

Update #1 - November 2015 (67.4 MB)

The 1st update pack contains over 1400 faces of players and staff. Most of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 November's update, plus around 200 extras.

Update #2 - December 2015 (147 MB)

The 2nd update pack contains over 3000 faces of players and staff. Half of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 December's update, plus around 50 extras.

To install November's update, extract the .zip file you downloaded and move all files inside the "Scope Faces - 2015 November Update" folder to your "Scope Faces Megapack 2016" folder. Overwrite the files it's asking you to, including the config.xml file (especially this one).
Then clear cache and reload skin from FM16 preferences as usual.
Follow the same process with all update packs.

How will this feature affect our games? Can we play this update without the CA/PA changes?
Yes, the CA/PA file is a new file beside the others. If you don't want this file, simply don't choose it when you start a new game.

How to install pr0's data updates to FM 2016

1. Extract the downloaded .rar file using 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac OS X.


2. Move the extracted .fmf updates you want to the following location:
   Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2016 / editor data
   Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist.


3. Open FM 2016 and start a new save-game with your selected databases of choice.

In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

The "Champions League skin" is back for the 2016 edition (last release was for FM 2014, I skipped FM 2015).
I created this skin for my personal use and the skin has been tested with the recommended resolution of 1920x1080 (windowed and full screen).

This skin wouldn't have been possible without the work of:
Dasz8, FLUT, EmilDebski (Vitrex skin), OPZ, TheBantams (Andromeda skin), Wannachupbrew, Bergkamp, Artdekdok and many, many others.
Recommended (not included) for use with this skin are:
Facepack of your choice, Logo and kits packs, Cities mega-pack (showing city pictures in club screens) and stadium background pack.

This skin includes:
- compatibility with version 16.2.0
- bigger player faces
- (small) sidebar with customized icons and auto-hide feature, colours change depending on team/competition selected
- custom made Champions League scoreboard in full match screen mode
- custom made "match preview" and "post match" panels
- opacity/background selector
- instant result button
- many other additional graphical updates to enhance the FM experience

This is a dark skin, optimized for HD resolutions (resolution of 1920x1080 windowed and full screen).
The main focus with this skin was to get the optimal amount of information on the (profile) panels.
Low(er) resolutions will not be able to display all panels completely because of this and these low(er) resolution are not recommended or supported.

How to add Champions League 2016 skin in FM16

1. Download and extract the .7z file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).


2. Place the "Champions League 2016" folder here:
   Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\skins
   Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.


3. Start FM16 and go to Preferences screen and then into the Interface tab.
   You should see Champions League 2016 as option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
   Hit the Confirm button.

Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

Known Issues

If you are using a higher resolution than HD your CL scoreboard will not look good.
You can fix this easily by adjusting the "left inset" values (increase them) of the items that seem out of place in the "match titlebar score.xml" that is located in the \panels folder of the skin.

The signature font is causing problems (it shows a "?" in the name sometimes) when using Turkish player names.
This is also the case in other skins (Androflut and Andromeda) that use the same signature font.
To resolve replace the "signature" font in the "font" directory and the problem is solved.
Just download this small file and replace the files in the "fonts"\ folder of the skin.

Lots of changes since the previous release including icons, colours, boxes, scoreboard, news screens and more.
All boxes have been edited in this new skin to give the skin a more crisp look.

The skin as always is made for 1920 x 1080 resolution screens using NO zoom effect.
Using other resolutions or zoom effects will result in inferior quality of product.
Sorry but I do not have the time to make in all different resolutions.

I have used the skin for a few weeks now to find any glitches to edit, now finally happy its ready for release.

Hope you enjoy the skin.....but if you dont like something sorry but dont ask me how to remove or change it....the skin is made like this and I cant be arsed answering loads of questions from people wanting a skin made for there own preferences.
Sorry if this offends!!

Introducing Andromeda skin for Football Manager 2016 regular career mode.

Skin designed using 1366 x 768 full screen zoom 85%.

Made using the best of the best bits from most skins available in 2015/2016, plus bits I have learnt to do in the past 12 months.

This skin supports instant result button, as well as 10 user backgrounds to select from the tool icon on the top right hand side of the skin. Also during match play you can change the logo of the TV.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1:
Please be aware that this graphical mod DOES NOT go into the "Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016" folder as normal graphics do (kits, logos, faces and so on). It will not work/have any affect if extracted here.

Go to the following directory on your computer:

"[YOUR FM GAME FOLDER]\data\facegen\hair\"

(Default place to look for this folder is "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2015").

Inside you will find 6 folders named "afro", "asian", "euro", "hispanic", "manager" and "mixed_race" and a 'config.xml' file.

Take a backup of all these folders + config file and delete them all together from the game folder afterwards - keep the folder open.

Step 2:
Now extract the folders "afro", "asian", "euro", "hispanic", "manager" and "mixed_race" from the downloaded zip file into the folder from above.

Step 3:
Open up your game, go into preference > interface and click the "Clear Cache" button. When done, close the game. Run again, and everything should be up and running.

Files are save-game compatible, meaning you don't have to start a new game for them to make effect.

Around The World Project Explained

• New playable countries, leagues and clubs across the world.


• Large leagues - 20 teams in highest division, 24 teams in lower divisions (if as many clubs exist).


• Each league with 13 awards: player of the week, manager of the month, team of the season, etc down to 4th tier.


• 2 transfer windows, loaning throughout the year, 14 year old newgens.


• No specific disciplinary rules, job permissions, no restrictions, no winter/summer break, 6 of 12 substitutes, league sorting rules, 4 relegations and one play-off (usually).


• Removed clubs which are second teams (for example: "II", "B", "(..) academy", "(...) U18"), distinct leagues for reserves/U18/universities/schools, removed age limits in many clubs also restored a lot of non existing clubs.


• Created leagues for reserves and U18 based and depended on major leagues.


• TV broadcast for highest divisions, income from TV rights and positions in league.


• Slightly changed transfer preferences in many countries in the world.


• Created national cups and supercups (if not existed).


• Removed other cups: league cups, tournaments, all-stars games and remaining leagues which are not subordinate to the main tiers.


• Original names for leagues and cups with title sponsors (some lower leagues may be non original).

It is not compatible with many other league related databases! If errors occur, clean the editor data folder from other league files and paste the files from this add-on only. Also make sure that your FM16 is updated to the latest version.

Recommended options at the start of the game:

• Do Not Use Real Fixtures
• Add Players to Playable Teams

Changes compared to FM15 version

• added reserves and young teams (U18) based on the major leagues
• corrected transfer dates
• changed substitutes from 3 of 5 to 6 of 12
• changed descriptions to be more readable and understandable

You can select 51 files to the existing countries in the game + 69 others. In total can not exceed 120 selected countries.

How to add the DF11 Megapack to FM16

1. Download and Extracted the downloaded file using 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac OS X.


2. Move the extracted folder "DF11 Megapack" to the following location:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\Graphics


3. Run Football Manager 2016 and go to Preferences > Interface:
   Click the "Clear Cache" button.
   Enable Reload Skin when confirming changes in preferences.
   Click the "Reload Skin" button.... Done
