Version 2.2 contains 14.921 changes until 1 May 2016 that happened after the latest 16.3 database lock-down.

Post your suggestions and feel free to tell me your ideas either on this topic or in the comments below. Hopefully I can do something about it!

Updates are scheduled to be released every 15 days, so you know when to expect the next ones.

• Transfers from all around the world from the very best leagues to the small ones
• Contract changes to reflect corrected wages
• Managerial changes
• Passed away players / staff are removed from database
• Corrected squad numbers
• In some cases adjusted personal attributes such as height and weight
• Added favorite clubs, favourite staffs and so
• Nationality changes

General Changes

• Chairman changes - Newly created chairmen take the place of the ones who left
• Added affiliations between clubs
• New people created that are not in the game, and are not wonderkids
• Stadium removals
• Corrected captains

Injured Players

• Players who were injured, corrected injury dates
• Players who were injured, but mistakenly not added to the game

Wonderkids

• New young players created, who will become world class players in the future
• In some cases adjusted CA/PA abilities of players under 21, and set wonderkids

Current Ability / Potential Ability Changes

• Adjusted stats and current ability attributes
• Adjusted potential ability

How will this feature affect our games? Can we play this update without the CA/PA changes?
Yes, the CA/PA file is a new file beside the others. If you don't want this file, simply don't choose it when you start a new game.

How to install pr0's data updates to FM 2016

1. Extract the downloaded .rar file using 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac OS X.


2. Move the extracted .fmf updates you want to the following location:
   Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2016 / editor data
   Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist.


3. Open FM 2016 and start a new save-game with your selected databases of choice.

In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

CONFIG (XML) FILES EXPLAINED.

Each type of background has to have the correct config file to get images to show in your game.
With Stadiums there are three variants of the said config file as follows....

<record from="10" to="graphics/pictures/team/10/background"/>
This will show pictures on team screens for example Squad screen, tactics.

<record from="10" to="graphics/pictures/club/10/background"/>
This will show pics on club screens for example Club Overview, Finances, Staff,

<record from="1000" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/1000/background"/>
This is the config needed to show stadiums (using stadium id numbers and not team) on Stadium Overview screens plus in 2D matches as a background.

HOW TO CHANGE CONFIG FILE


Firstly open the config file with NOTEPAD.
Press EDIT on the menu at top of page.
Then press REPLACE from the drop down menu.
Type in club OR team in the 'FIND WHAT' box
Type in team OR club in the 'replace with box
Press the REPLACE ALL button.
Finally SAVE your changes.

HOW TO INSTALL BACKGROUNDS (of any kind)(eng/ger)

STEP 1

Download your chosen Background graphics.

Unpack with winrar or 7zip for windows

Place the Backgrounds folder in the following location.....

Sports Interactive//Football Manager 2015//Graphics//Pictures//Backgrounds

If you do not have some of the above folders then please create them.

Go to Preferences//Interface page in game.

Make sure the box entitled (use caching to decrease loading times) is unticked....then reload the game.
There you go you should now have brand new backgrounds

Lade dir das gewünschte Hintergrund Paket runter. Ggfs. entpacken.
Dann den Hintergrund Ordner(Backgrounds) in folgenden Ordner einfügen.

C:\Benutzer\"Benutzername"\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\Graphics\Pictures\Backgrounds

Sollte zb der Graphics und folgende Ordner fehlen einfach anlegen.

Dann unter Preferences/Interface den Haken bei (use caching to decrease loading times) entfernen fertig. Spiel laden Hintergründe müssten dann da sein.

Hey, this is my standard logo pack for Football Manager 2016.
Standard means the logos have no effects on them, as this is the way I prefer them.

How to add standard logos megapack on Football Manager 2016

1. Download the 2 .zip files and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract their contents.


2. Move the extracted contents to your graphics folder:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\logos\
   Create folders "graphics" and "logos" if they don't exist already.


3. Run Football Manager 2016 and go to Preferences > Interface:
   Disable Using caching to decrease page loading times
   Enable Reload Skin when confirming changes in preferences
   Hit the Confirm button

Still left to do are low level clubs of Italy, Romania and Turkey.

If you notice some club logos that were already out of date when this pack was released or know of some missing logos or found a logo in significantly better quality than in this pack feel free to contact me.
I'm regularly checking all the big logo sites, so you don't need to link me there, but I don't have the time to constantly check logos for England level 9 or Ireland level 4.

How to install TheFMEditor 2016 Update to FM16

1. Move the downloaded .fmf file to:

2. Run Football Manager 2016 and start new save with this database enabled.


3. It's highly recommended to disable "Do not Add Key Staff" and enable "Add Players to Playable Teams" in advanced options.
   


4. It's also recommended to load all players from the UK & Ireland region using the Advanced... Database Size options.

FM 2016 FLUT skin v2.0

Skin for FM 2016 regular career mode and widescreens (1920x1080).
I'm pleased to present you the version 2.0 of FLUTSkin White for FM16.


This skin is compatible with DF11, Scope and Cutout Faces.
NOW this skin is a little bit transparent and compatible with backgrounds.

Thanks to all FM fans and especially to all of the fantastic FM skinners who made it possible to produce the FLUTSkin as it is today since FM 2013.

Resolution requirements

This skin was made to work properly in 1920x1080 full screen mode. As a result, some panels won’t work properly in other resolutions (and also in 1920x1080 windowed mode).

The main changes are:

• Club Profile (stadium panel tweaked; larger country locator, including a larger country flag)
• New Club Overview (with a larger citypic and FMC stadium in order to fully enjoy the pictures)
• New Nation Overview
• New Nation Profile
• New Stadium Overview

You can choose one of three Player Overview Panel you want (picture top left/picture top centre/picture middle), putting the xml included in Player Overview Panel alt folder, in the panels folder of the skin (overwrite the default)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. In this pack I included a TUTORIAL PDF with instructions regarding the structure of your Graphics folder in order to view the city pics, the country locator, the kits and the competition logos in player details and in title bar.

How to add PMSC Portrait Facepack to FM16

1. Download all 11 parts which are in .rar archive format and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract their contents.
   Just extract PART 1 and all other parts will be extracted automatically.


2. Move the folder "PMSC Portrait Facepack 4.00" to:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\
   Create the folder "graphics" if it doesn't exist.


3. Open Football Manager 2016 and go to Preferences > Interface.
   Click the "Clear Cache" button.
   Enable "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences".
   Click the "Reload Skin" button.
   There should be a box that pops up saying 'loading image data for the new skin'. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.

For the new season, FMclub & FMEurope is really pleased to show you his Kit template : the TW. This template was created by Teenway, administrator of the french website fmclub.fr and pack was done by IgorNatalino. Project advance slowly but surely to purpose always more content.

If you want to share the pack, link this download page and our forum; do not host the files elsewhere.

How to install

Step 1

Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract the folders.

7-Zip is installed using the .exe you download, following the instructions on-screen. To install The Unarchiver simply double click on the .zip file you download from their website then drag the program it extracts (called 'The Unarchiver') into your apps folder.

Once installed, create a new folder somewhere you can keep track of (on your desktop for instance) and place your downloaded graphics zip, rar or 7z in it.

Now we extract:
Windows: Right click on your zip, rar or 7z. Choose 7-Zip from the menu, then select 'Extract Here'.
MacOS X: Right click (or ctrl + click) on your zip, rar or 7z. Choose 'open with' then select 'The Unarchiver'.

Your file should extract and most probably create a folder in the same directory.

Step 2

Copy those folders to:
\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\kits\

Create folders "graphics" and "kits" if they don't exist already.

Step 3

Run Football Manager 2016 and go to: Preferences > Interface

Make sure that you tick the check box on the page called 'Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences' and un-tick then box saying 'Use caching to decrease page loading times'. Hit Confirm.

There should be a box that pops up saying 'loading image data for the new skin'. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.

Welcome to the biggest and best backgrounds pack available.
For many years I have wanted to make a large pack using the many backgrounds by myself and others.
Well here it is, got to be a must for every FM fan a super pack full of quality images to enhance your gaming experience.
All have the correct xml/config files to work correctly and I have fully tested the whole pack with no problems.
Certain backgrounds will show on certain screens....
City pack images will show on all Cub screens.
Stadiums will show on all Team screens, etc.

Thousands of backgrounds all in one very impressive pack.
Files have all been converted to jpg to reduce the size but for the amount you get here it was always going to be large.

How and where to install this pack for FM16

Download from the link provided then extract with a free tool such as 7-zip (or WinRAR).
Place the Sports interactive folder into the folder you have FM files (usually Documents) and overwrite when asked.
The pack will then install for you all in the correct folders with the correct config files which are all included.

How to install the Catalonian Leagues in Football Manager 2016

1. Extract the contents of the .zip file using the default zip utility of your OS or get a free tool such as 7-zip.


2. Move the extracted .fmf file to the following location:
   Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2016 / editor data
   Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist.


3. Open FM 2016 and start a new save-game with this database selected.


4. It's highly recommended to disable "Do not Add Key Staff" and enable "Add Players to Playable Teams" in advanced options.


5. It's also recommended to load all players from Catalonia using the Advanced... Database Size options.

Euroleague instead of Champions League. Competition is much more like Euroleague Basketball. There is also a Small Nations Champions Cup for nations with smaller coefficient.

How to add Andromeda BLK 2 skin to FM16

For the new season, FMclub is really pleased to show you his Kit template : the TW. This template was created by Teenway, administrator of the french website fmclub.fr and pack was done by Teenway. Project advance slowly but surely to purpose always more content.

How to install

Step 1

Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract the folders.

7-Zip is installed using the .exe you download, following the instructions on-screen. To install The Unarchiver simply double click on the .zip file you download from their website then drag the program it extracts (called 'The Unarchiver') into your apps folder.

Once installed, create a new folder somewhere you can keep track of (on your desktop for instance) and place your downloaded graphics zip, rar or 7z in it.

Now we extract:
Windows: Right click on your zip, rar or 7z. Choose 7-Zip from the menu, then select 'Extract Here'.
MacOS X: Right click (or ctrl + click) on your zip, rar or 7z. Choose 'open with' then select 'The Unarchiver'.

Your file should extract and most probably create a folder in the same directory.

Step 2

Copy those folders to:
\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\kits\

Create folders "graphics" and "kits" if they don't exist already.

Step 3

Run Football Manager 2016 and go to: Preferences > Interface

Make sure that you tick the check box on the page called 'Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences' and un-tick then box saying 'Use caching to decrease page loading times'. Hit Confirm.

There should be a box that pops up saying 'loading image data for the new skin'. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.

Our scope style facepack includes over 82,500 faces of players, staff and referees for all playable leagues on Football Manager 2016.
It's a sleek and modern circular portrait style in standard size of 180 x 180 pixels.
It is intended for use with FM16, but it will work with all versions of the game from FM09 onward.

Scope style is originally created by fmscout.com and its production started in February 2012.

This megapack was made possible in association with the amazing people who produce the DF11 facepacks. THANKS to necjeff for granting his permission to use their top notch collection as base for this megapack.

Scope Faces Megapack 2016 contains a total of 77,886 faces and takes up 3,82 GB of space (without the updates).

So far we have released 4 updates that extend the core megapack to a total of 82,662 faces and the space required to 4.05 GB.

How to add the Scope Faces Megapack to FM16

1. Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract its contents.


2. Move the extracted folder "Scope Faces Megapack 2016" to:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\
   Create the folder "graphics" if it doesn't exist.


3. Open Football Manager 2016 and go to Preferences > Interface.
   Click the "Clear Cache" button.
   Enable "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences".
   Click the "Reload Skin" button.
   There should be a box that pops up saying 'loading image data for the new skin'. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.

Download the Update Packs

For our update packs we'll be following the DF11 release schedule, so you can expect us to have an update pack ready shortly after DF11 publish their own. The updates between the 2 styles will include the same pictures, but we'll make sure to include some extras with every new pack.

Update #1 - November 2015 (67 MB)

The 1st update pack contains over 1400 faces of players and staff. Most of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 November's update, plus around 200 extras.

Update #2 - December 2015 (147 MB)

The 2nd update pack contains over 3000 faces of players and staff. Half of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 December's update, plus around 50 extras.

Update #3 - March 2016 (208 MB)

The 3rd update pack contains over 4200 faces of players and staff. Half of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 January's and February's updates, plus around 40 extras.

Update #4 - May 2016 (163 MB)

The 4th update pack contains over 3200 faces of players and staff. Half of them are updated pics from the current season of people who already exist in the core megapack. DF11 March's and April's updates.

To install November's update, extract the .zip file you downloaded and move all files inside the "Scope Faces - 2015 November Update" folder to your "Scope Faces Megapack 2016" folder. Overwrite the files it's asking you to, including the config.xml file (especially this one).
Then clear cache and reload skin from FM16 preferences as usual.

Follow the same process with all update packs.

Ever wanted to see Stanley Matthews, Giuseppe Meazza, Pele, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo all of them in one place and facing each other? Well, now you can. In Football Manager 2016 and with an update “Return Of The Legends for FM16”, you will have an opportunity to play and manage all of these stars and 2780 others spread all over the world in their respective teams.

The man behind the whole project is David Salapura from Serbia. With a little help of some of his friends from Serbian FM Community after few months of work they created this update for every Football Manager fan to enjoy.
