Vardy scores plenty of goals and is a great tactic to use with Leicester. I had a season where he scored 57 times!

I haven't tried with any other teams yet, but will be trying them out.

Well worth trying out guys hope it is successful for you like it is with me.

Zinedine Zidane's 4-3-3 for FM16

My attempt to replicate on Football Manager 2016 the philosophy/style of Zinedine Zidane that Real Madrid currently employ making full use of the midfielders. This very fluid sort of formation is Controlled style of play.

I constantly rotated my team to keep them fresh as well as to create a fighting team spirit within my squad.

Use Creative and Pacey players in wide areas.

Use a good tackler in Deep lying playmaker.

Use pacey and quality finisher in striking and winger roles.

Midfielder are heart of the team when attacking and defending (make sure that choose right players in midfield) right players means best player don't think right footed .

Team instructions

Opposition Instructions - leave it for assistant manager

Team shape - Very fluid

Mentality - Attacking

You should have important attributes for each role.

Here are my results, am playing my season full season pics will be uploaded soon.

Real Madrid

Bayern Munich

Everything is ready just download and play

Leave some pic's in comments and your opinions on tactic.

Hope you'll enjoy!

Per Guardiola's Tiki-Taka for FM 2016

$
0
0
After many requests, here's my version of Pep Guardiola's tiki-taka tactic for Football Manager 2016!

In my attempt to emulate Pep Guardiola's philosophy I eventually settled on this asymmetric 4-4-2/4-4-1-1, with an aggressive AMC supporting the striker. My main purpose was to recreate Pep's all around philosophy based on players' movement rather than a particular formation or single roles.

KEY FEATURES AND OVERVIEW

- High defensive line
- Ball possession and short passing starting from GK
- Relatively slow build-up culminating in high tempo, one-two passes in the attacking third.
- Closing down all over the pitch.
- Movement off the ball, with players swapping positions and overlapping.
- Compact defensive shape
- Attacking with many players
- Creating numbers whenever possible

FORMATION AND TEAM INSTRUCTIONS

ROLES AND DUTIES

SK/attack: the Manuel Neuer role, you need a real sweeper keeper here.
FB/support and attack: left back is more attacking, both needs good crossing and passing skills as they cut inside to help possession.
DC's: one is a BPD. Quickness and anticipation are important for both centre backs, as well as decent passing to start offensive play.
WM/attack: think Arjen Robben. It's very important to use a left footed player here.
BWM/defend: think Arturo Vidal. A tireless ball winning midfielder playing a short passing game.
CM/attack: closer to an advanced playmaker in my ideas, a player like Thiago Alcantara would be perfect here.
W/support: we want to exploit the left flank and Douglas Costa will cross, run with the ball and link well with DL, MCL and the striker. You need a left footed player here.
SS/attack: the Thomas Muller role. Anticipation, finishing and movement between the lines, and lots of dirty work too.
CF/attack: a versatile, complete forward. Ideally should be a big, strong striker to take advantage of crosses and wide play.

FINAL NOTES

- Tested extensively with several clubs: Monaco, Byern, Swansea, Club Bruges
- You need to follow the instructions especially for wide midfielders roles (both must be left footed).
- The players will need time to learn the tactic and work as a unit, then you will really see the power of this tactic.
- This tactic is suited for big clubs, but also for any team with good overall technique. Players with better technique, creativity and passing skills will of course create more effective and spectacular offensive play.

Feedback always appreciated!

Three strikers who could be crowned top goalscorer at Euro 2016

$
0
0
With the start of Euro 2016 drawing ever closer, preparations are well under way across the participating nations who will hope to get their respective campaigns off to the best possible start with a win in their opening fixture. It will be the first tournament in competition history to feature twenty-four teams instead of the traditional number of sixteen, providing football fans across the world with more matches to enjoy and, in turn, more of the best players in Europe to watch perform on the big stage.

Major tournaments are often won by teams who play as a collective unit and possess quality at both ends of the pitch, but being presented with an opportunity to shine in a European Championship from an individual perspective is one that should be taken with both hands. Finishing a tournament as the top goalscorer is a fantastic achievement that all strikers would love to achieve at some stage in their career, and although the Golden Boot award takes away the contribution of other players who played a part in setting up the goals, it represents a clinical striker on top of his game. Bookies.com have compiled a list of players who have the quality to fire their team to glory at Euro 2016, and although there is every possibility that another striker grabs the headlines via a wonderful purple patch in form that sets the tournament alight, the following candidates stand as good a chance as any to be in the running.

Harry Kane

Very few strikers have made the same rise to prominence as Harry Kane in the last two years, with the Tottenham and England player eyeing up Euro 2016 as the perfect opportunity to show the whole of Europe what he can do. The 22-year-old has certainly proved that he is not a one-season wonder, as Kane finished the Premier League season as top goalscorer with 25 goals to his name as he fired Tottenham within touching distance of the title. It adds to the 21 goals he scored last season as Kane transformed from a bit-part player who may have faced a future away from White Hart Lane to a leading marksman for club and country.

England are ranked amongst the darkhoses to go all the way at Euro 2016, and although it remains to be seen what formation and players Hodgson elects to field throughout the tournament, Kane will undoubtedly play a starring role. While his Football Manager 2016 statistics reflect that Kane is not blessed with electric pace (Acceleration 13, Pace 11) that enables him to run clear from defences, it is his positional sense (15) and strength (14) which provide the core essentials for any efficient number nine. His superb finish for England against Germany in their recent friendly belied his finishing and composure statistics (both 15), while Kane is not shy to shoot from distance (also 15) as he certainly packs a punch with his right foot. Additionally, Kane possesses the perfect qualities that any target man should have – the ability to head a ball (16) and be a real threat in the air (Jumping Reach 15). England are certainly blessed to have a striker with so many top attributes at such a young age, and with Kane also in superb form, he could put him in contention to win the Golden Boot.

Robert Lewandowski

There can be no question that Robert Lewandowski is among the best strikers in world football, with the Bayern Munich and Poland star finding goals easy to come by. Not only did the 26-year-old finish the Bundesliga season as top goalscorer with thirty goals from just thirty-two appearances, but Lewandowski also topped the charts during his country’s qualification campaign for Euro 2016 with thirteen goals in ten games. It is proof, if needed, that Lewandowski is in prime form ahead of the European Championship, and although many do not expect Poland to reach the latter stages, it would certainly be worth considering taking up a free bets offer on https://bookies.com to back their number nine to pick up yet another goals-based accolade. Facing Germany, Ukraine and Northern Ireland in the group stages should provide Lewandowski with an opportunity to fill hit boots, with the striker likely to carry the weight of hope and expectation of an entire nation on his shoulders.

His Football Manager 2016 statistics merely confirms the fact that Lewandowski is one of the best all-rounded strikers on the planet, and at the age of 26, can only get better. Some would argue that his finishing stat of 16 is a tad too low for a player who has made a living from scoring goals of every type possible, although this is owed to fantastic technique (16), ice-cool composure in front of goal (14) and wonderful ability to keep his balance (20) when put under pressure from defenders. While his positioning (10) may leave a lot to be desired, Lewandowski is a real threat through movement off the ball (17) and making the right decisions (18) at the right time. The striker can also accelerate quickly off the mark (16) which may prove hugely effective against Poland’s group opponents who are not blessed with pace in defence, and if his team-mates can provide him with the service he thrives upon, then Lewandowski may prove impossible to stop.

Cristiano Ronaldo

If any player is able to carry their country single-handedly towards glory this summer, then Cristiano Ronaldo is surely that man. Scoring over fifty goals in six consecutive seasons is a phenomenal achievement that only he and Lionel Messi could make possible, and although ardent Football Manager players are unlikely to have seen such goal-scoring feats on their respective save files, Ronaldo will have to be at his mercurial best to lead Portugal towards the final at the Stade de France. Facing Iceland, Austria and Hungary in Group F may provide the 31-year-old with a considerable advantage over the other Euro 2016 Golden Boot contenders, as although all three should not be taken lightly by any means, they may struggle to keep Ronaldo quiet for ninety minutes.

Ronaldo has worked meticulously on every aspect of his game to become an all-rounded superstar that very few defences in world football can stop, particularly when he is firing on all cylinders. His Football Manager 2016 profile reflects just how good Ronaldo is, with finishing, long shots and pace all at 20 to make tight marking a necessity on the game. Even that can sometimes not be enough to stop the Portugal and Real Madrid star from wreaking havoc, with his movement off the ball (20) and anticipation of any loose pass or touch (19) meaning that Ronaldo is always a threat, even when he may not be enjoying the best of games. It often takes Ronaldo just one slight opening to create a moment of magic from out wide on the left where he loves to cut inside, but his superb ability to unerring soar in the air (Jumping Reach 17) and bullet a header past the opposition goalkeeper (Heading 19) also makes him so difficult to stop from deliveries into the box. Portugal may be taking a number of their next generation of talented players to France this summer, but it will inevitably be down to Ronaldo to lead from the front and fire his country towards what would be considered a shock Euro 2016 triumph.

Gregg Popovich Tactics for FM16

$
0
0
Brief History
Gregg Charles Popovich (born January 28, 1949) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of theSan Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Taking over as coach of the Spurs in 1996, Popovich is the longest tenured active coach in both the NBA and all US major sports leagues. He is often referred to as "Coach Pop" or simply "Pop".

Popovich is considered one of the greatest coaches in NBA history and holds the record for most consecutive winning seasons, (playoffs and regular season) in NBA history at 19. He is currently tied as of 2015-2016 with Pat Riley (regular season only) at 19, and is one behind Phil Jackson who has 20. He has won five NBA championships as the head coach of the Spurs, a feat achieved only by four other coaches in NBA history (Phil Jackson, Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, and John Kundla). He is also one of 9 coaches in NBA history to have won 1,000 NBA games.

The Fm16 Tactic

I decided to see if I could dig Manchester United from the enormous hold that it has found itself in since the retirement of Sir Alex. The team had many issues: immature forward line, unstable defense and an ageing midfield but they still saw success.

First season won the treble, playing some of the most beautiful vertical football of all time. My team worked harder and ran faster than any other team in the division and for this they became champions of Europa and Premier League.

If you don't believe me look at the pictures. I delegated the task to the staff. My Director Of Football is the reason behind the signing of "Gabi Barbosa" and what a superb signing he was especially when "Waza" was coming of age. Jesse Lingard? 16 goals unbelievable from the little magician.

Test them with any team you like and apply some useful tips: Eliminate slow players, Produce competitiveness within the squad, Always tackle hard, Weaker Foot, Closing Down and Tight Marking.

FM 2016 Wonderkids at EURO 2016

$
0
0
Everyone loves watching a bright new talent burst on to the scene. And while the likes of Kingsley Coman, Breel Embolo and Leroy Sane may be familiar names already thanks to their club feats, but they and their fellow teenagers face the greatest challenge of their potential yet.

Will they get an opportunity and manage to light up the tournament? We'll find out in the coming days.

If you are following our work, you should already know most of the players listed below as they appear on our Football Manager 2016 wonderkids guide.

Breel Embolo

Let's start off with a nice one. Embolo, one of the biggest wonderkids on this years game. You can grab the Swiss forward for under £15 million and he has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the game. According to Football Manager, Embolo has pace (15 acceleration, 14 pace) and knows where the back of the net is (14 finishing), all this at the age of just 18. Originally from Cameroon, Breel Embolo now represents Switzerland and has been picked as part of their squad for EURO 2016. He scored 9 goals in 22 games in the league this season and now even Manchester United are eyeing up the young striker. With the Swiss hoping to advance from the group stages, Embolo will hope to be a big part of their EURO campaign.

Marcus Rashford

Okay, okay, okay. Some of you might hate me for this one but since the winter update on Football Manager, you could actually class Marcus Rashford as a wonderkid. Love him or hate him, Rashford has huge potential if he can live up to the standards of his debut season at Old Trafford. Roy Hodgson has called the 18 year old up to the England squad which will be a huge experience for the young man. Now, according to FM his PA is now around 143 which means he has the potential to be a pretty tidy striker on the game. Rashford already boasts ridiculously good acceleration (16) and pace (17), which will make him a handful for any defence. Now, he may not play every single minute for England but Rashford grabbed 5 goals in 11 in the league on his debut season and a goal on his England debut, you can't help but a little bit excited, right?

Renato Sanches

Now, I love a wonderkid, but it is quite a shame as Renato Sanches is on his way to Bayern Munich next season which will make him extremely hard to buy at a good price on future editions of FM. Sanches has the ability to be one of the best in the world with an outstanding 180 PA. Bayern had to be quick off the mark to make this signing as other teams were approaching but it was one hell of a signing. Being selected for the Portugal national side and most probably going to be getting a good amount of game time, this tournament could be pivotal for Sanches to show the world what he can do. The central midfielder is an absolute unit on FM. His physicals are ridiculous. For someone who starts the game at the age of 17, all but 2 of his physical stats are over 15 (agility 12, jumping reach 7) which is insane. This tournament could be crucial for Renato Sanches and he has the ability to take Portugal to another level.

Olexandr Zinchenko

Now, here's one you may not have heard of. The 19 year old midfielder broke Andriy Shevchenko's record as Ukraine's youngest goalscorer on the 29th May, just in his second appearance for his national side. On FM he has a tidy potential (-85) which gives him the right to be on this list. Manchester City were thought to be interested in the young man, however it now looks like Borussia Dortmund may be hijacking the deal. Currently playing for FC Ufa in Russia, Zinchenko had an almost full season of appearances which is vital for a young player. The Ukrainian hosts fairly average stats on FM but average enough to be a solid capture for most English Premier League standard starts.

Kingsley Coman

Kingsley Coman wowed fans across the world with brilliant Champions League performances this year so it is no real surprise that the winger has been called up to the French national team. With the hosts as one of the favourites, Coman has the ability to score and assist a number of goals throughout the tournament. The 19 year old may well be difficult to purchase on the game unless you are willing to spend £30 million plus but with him being on loan at Bayern in the first season, it makes it a bit more annoying. Another quick player (you can tell I like pace right?) but Coman boasts 15 dribbling and 15 work rate which proves he could be one hell of a player at the EUROs.

Leroy Sane

A candidate for the Bundesliga team of the season, Leroy Sane has collected some plaudits over the last year. Currently playing for Schalke, Sane has been selected to be part of the German national team who hope they can capture EURO 2016 glory. A versatile player who can play all across the midfield, Sané grabbed 8 goals and 6 assists in the league this season, not bad going for a 19 year old still finding his way in the game. Awesome with the ball at his feet, Sané looks to be a real threat when going forward. Like Sanches, the German winger's physical stats on FM are phenomenal. Pace, acceleration, agility and dribbling are all stand out stats for Sané (acceleration, agility, dribbling all 16, pace 18) which makes him an asset to any club or country.

Ante Coric

Now, another player you may not be too familiar with is Ante Coric. The 19 year old midfielder has been called up to represent Croatia at EURO 2016. Coric was just 17 when he scored his first continental goal in the Europa League for Dinamo Zagreb against Astra. This made him one of the youngest goalscorers in the competition and Dinamo still have hold of their man. West Ham are reported to be interested in Coric though, so it remains to be seen how long Dinamo can keep hold of him. Primarily played as an attacking midfielder, on Football Manager, Coric has some incredible technical stats. His dribbling (17), first touch (18) and technique (18), shows that Coric is like a wizard on the ball and could mean real business for Croatia if he gets the game time.

Dele Alli

After a quality debut season with Tottenham, Dele Alli has cemented himself as an England first teamer at the age of just 20. Operating as a central midfielder, Alli has solid stats across the board which makes him a brilliant player for any side. Along with quality physicals (only one below 13, which is jumping reach, 11), Alli's technical and mental stats are quality too. Scoring 10 goals in his first season in the Premier League shows that Alli has huge potential and could be a pivotal part of Roy Hodgson's push for European success.

Tin Jedvaj

Our first defender on the list is Croatian, Tin Jedvaj. He currently plays for Leverkusen as a centre back and the 20 year old will be hoping he can cement a place in the Croatian team for EURO 2016. After starting his career at Dinamo, Jedvaj was lured away by Roma where he failed to break into the first team but then recently moved onto Leverkusen. The young centre back has solid stats according to FM, however as a centre back, his lack of aerial presence may put you off. Despite that though, Jedvaj makes up for that with pace and solid mental attributes. The Leverkusen centre half could get his name out there with some solid defensive performances at this years tournament.

Anthony Martial

Yet to score for France before this tournament, Anthony Martial's solid debut season at Manchester United is enough for him to be in the French squad this summer. Scoring 11 league goals, Martial has the ability to upset any group of defenders. Even FM agrees, with awesome dribbling (16) along with his speed (17 acceleration, 16 pace), Martial could start a counter attack of his own or make defenders tremble as he runs towards them. Combine this with his finishing (15) and technique (15), Martial has the potential to be one of the players of the tournament at the age of just 20. With France hoping to go all the way, the Manchester United forward will be hoping to be part of the success.

Jonathan Tah

Another 20 year old and the second Leverkusen centre back on this list. Jonathan Tah was a late replacement for Antonio Rudiger, but will still hope to make an impact for the Germans at this years European Championship. He made his debut for Germany this year in a 3-2 loss to England. Tah is another very physical and composed centre half and another player nominated for the Bundesliga team of the season, which shows how good he was this season. Along with Jedvaj, Leverkusen have two very promising defensive talents and it will be interesting to see how long that they hold on to them for.

Julian Weigl

Hey, look, another 20 year old German. Weigl made his breakthrough into the Borussia Dortmund side at the start of this season and went onto playing for them 40 times this season in all competitions, playing well enough to be called up for the German national team. On Football Manager, Weigl has absolutely quality mental attributes. Teamwork (18), composure (17), decisions (17) and anticipation (16) are the early stand out ones. Along with his passing (15), Weigl has ridiculously huge potential to be one of Dortmund's next big things and it would be awesome to see him get some game time at this years EUROs.

Victor Kovalenko

The final player on this list is Victor Kovalenko. The young attacking midfielder has been called up to represent Ukraine at this years European Championship. Currently at Shakhtar, Kovalenko has some pretty tasty FM stats which could lure you to try and pick this guy up for fairly cheap. Not many of his stats stand out massively, but like Dele Alli, his stats are pretty solid across the board which makes him a real decent prospect. Despite not scoring a goal for Shakhtar, Kovalenko's creativity earned him his first few Ukraine appearances in friendlies earlier this year. If Ukraine want to make a push, Kovalenko could be the talisman for their team this year.

The Top 3 EPL Free Transfers To Look Out For In This Transfer Window

$

The transfer market is about to open and silly season has already begun. While clubs are hunting down the big name buys and scouting the top talents who are looking to ply their trade elsewhere, let’s take a look at three top-quality players that will be available as free agents in the English Premier League this transfer window.

3: Emmanuel Adebayor

Released by Crystal Palace, this 32 year old forward is able to boast an experienced career. Starting his senior career at Metz in 2001, his career has flourished since. He has moved from one great club to the next, playing for big names such as Monaco, Arsenal, and Manchester City, experiencing a short loan spell at Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspurs; signed by Tottenham on a permanent deal, and finally finding himself at Crystal Palace. This vast experience in different leagues and teams would give clubs that sign him a great advantage upfront, and at 32, Adebayor still has a good two or three seasons to ply his trade.

2: Victor Valdés

The first choice keeper for Barcelona’s first team from 2002, he had a glittering career at the club until 2014. Finding himself second choice in the goalkeeping spot, spending much of his time on the bench, in the 2013/4 season, Valdés decided that the pressures at Barcelona was too great, and subsequently decided to leave the club early enough for them to find a replacement. He then moved to Manchester United in 2014, who offered to help him in his rehabilitation from his ACL injury sustained in the previous season. He was offered a contract from the club in 2015, signing for 18 months, with an option of a further year on 8 January.

He deputised under David De Gea, although he only managed to play two games before he was loaned out to Standard Liége. Victor Valdés now finds himself on the release list, submitted this Friday by Manchester United. At 34 years of age, he is still a good age for keeping position, and could easily take the number one spot at most clubs that would seek to sign him. With top quality goalkeepers hard to find, Valdés would be a superb acquisition as a free transfer.

1: Kolo Toure

This experienced Ivorian has built a great reputation over his career, and at the age of 35 finds himself a free agent, having been released from Liverpool FC, after playing with the club for three seasons. This famous central defender and brother of Yaya Toure is one of the squad members of the Arsenals Invincible, of the 2003/4 campaign. He also went on to have a successful spell at Manchester City. Toure would undoubtedly be a great acquirement at any club as a free transfer.

With so many clubs releasing their youth players that were deemed below grade, many players find themselves having to seek development elsewhere, or browsing through jobs portals to find employment. Fortunately for Toure, Valdés and Adebayor, they should have no such problem.
