Benítez guided Segunda División side Extremadura back to the Primera División in his first season in 1997, but the team was relegated the following season. He left the club, taking a brief break from football before returning to coach Tenerife in 2000. In his only season, the team got the promotion.

Rafa came back Italy in 2013 to coach Napoli. As a coach of the team, he won Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

I tested the tactics with Ajax a good team but they lack experience and although may be expected to win the Dutch Championship they need a lot of guidance. Guidance is what I gave them. I also did something else, I put Davy Klaassen and Lasse Schone into the reserves eliminating all slow players from the squad. The team was immediately breaking with pace at will, always 2 -3 passes and goal.
Always remember that slow players are a weakness always try to use fastest players available to you. I played against elite team Arsenal and they struggled to beat me at the Emirates and I dominated at Home.
