Inter: Past, Present and Future

How are Inter doing this Season 2014-15? With an easy UEFA League Qualification over Stjarnan, which ended with an aggregate score of 9-0, they're now leading Group F of the Europa League after defeating Dnipro 1-0 with a late goal by D'Ambrosio.

Inter are now cruising the Serie A with the highest "Goal for" statistic (10 Goals in 4 matches), Kovacic has also scored his first official Inter goal vs Stjarnan, which ended up being 3, a hat-trick for the young Croatian midfielder, and has repeated himself in Serie A which proves that we're looking to see his best season yet with Inter.

As for the next Serie A game, Inter are favorites to beat Cagliari according to Betfair, who are a team that are in alot of turmoil having switched ownership & management and not having yet adapted to it, while the Coach prefers to play with a highline which favors attacking teams to score easier in Goal.

Most people ask themselves, what happened to Inter? They used to be a top side for Europe. Much has happened in truth since the 2010 Treble, we've had old glories not wanting to mutually terminate their contracts, taking up wage bill expenses for lenghts of time, we've had incompetent coaches like Benitez that after a week of his stay had begun to tell staff and players not to mention the word "Treble" or "Champions League" as it was now in the past... This caused confusion in the locker room, and they began to rebel against their own coach, Marco Materazzi being the leader of this rebellion.

There was also a bizarre occurance during the 11-12 Season with Stramaccioni, for over 30 weeks during the Season Inter would not receive any penalties in favor, even the most blatant fouls in the penalty box would be ignored, including hand-ball touches. This has began fans to believe there is a conspiracy anti-Inter in the Italian F.A. If there actually is, it is yet to be known. What is true though is that Massimo Moratti has left the Inter Chairmanship since his arrival in 1995, during which he won for the club a Uefa Cup in 97-98, 3 Italian Supercups, 3 Italian Cups, and 5 Scudetto League wins. Then in 2010, winning in this order the Italian Cup final, the Serie A, and the Champions League he brings the club to legendary heights, heights not even his father, Angelo Moratti, had reached in his previous management, only winning a few dozen Scudettos and 2 Champions Leagues.

Now the Chairman is an Indonesian businessman called Erick Thohir, who wants to make the marketing and business side of the club an important part of the project, and believes youth is the way to victory, thanks to which we have lowered the average age of the club to 26, almost an all time low for the Club in 20 years. This Season promises to be a good one for Inter, battling with A.C. Milan and Napoli for the 3rd UCL Qualifying spot will be their highest prestige, as we can't really hope to compete with A.S. Roma and Juventus, the race horses of the Serie A.
