Hi all! Back for another season with my UEFA Revival project, with quite a list of updates from where I left off in Football Manager 2017.

Welcome everybody, today I am going to post the tactic I am using and I really love it because it helped me to achieve great results in short period. I love the way Bayern played with in season 2013 so I tried to create a solid tactic near that Jupp Heynckes system.

Here I have created a tactic with Salford City, which works really well and has the side playing a nice possession based style with some pretty nice goals without leaking too many goals.




During the pre-season you will always want to train tactics.

On match day tell the team you have confidence in them, then tell each player that you have faith in them.








It has not been tried and tested with bigger teams, but I imagine it will be a blast.

I've had a hard time utilising strikers in this edition and in this save I was no different. 3 games in to a new season, I'd already lost confidence in my strikers to be effective. So picture this, we're 1-0 down at newly promoted Charlton Athletic and we've had a man sent off. Having never gone strikerless before, I thought I'd try it given we had little else to lose. Off goes my striker for another midfielder (it was a midfielder who had been sent off). My wingers were already set as inside forwards under the old system. We won the game 3-1, with Nkoudou bagging two goals.

How to install Yugoslavian Leagues on FM18

1. Move the downloaded Jugoslovenska SuperLiga.fmf file to:
   \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018\editor data\
   Create folder "editor data" if it doesn't exist already.


2. Open Football Manager 2018 and start a new career, In the top right of the screen, under "Database", make sure "Jugoslovenska SuperLiga" is selected.


3. It's highly recommended to disable "Do not Add Key Staff" and enable "Add Players to Playable Teams" in advanced options.

A good all round tactic I employed while playing as Crewe Alexander, when I took over the club was in the relegation zone in league two and no hope was viable... or so it seemed.

After toiling and experimenting I came up with this 4-3-3 Asymmetric tactic with all round good performance.





It gives good possession, attempts on goal and defends solidly.

As promised, the successor of "Lio's Ginga", a controlled "Joga Bonita" is here.
Successfully tested with the FC Porto in the first season (2017/2018).





Got great results and showcased some beautiful football; its a more direct football, but still keeping ball possession in reasonably high percentage.




Try it and see if does wonders for you, like it did for me

Fernando Torres was an amazing player back in 2001, and he still is pretty good now. However, the best of him began in 2005 while he was at Atletico Madrid.

So what I did was to restore his attributes from Football Manager 2005 and put that in FM 2018.

See the screenshot of a 20-year old Torres in summer 2017.



This is a great opportunity for Torres' fans & Liverpool or Atletico fans to play with El Nino at his best!

This is the first release of my personal skin, Tiki-Taka '18 Skin.

Released: 12 February 2018
Updated: 24 April 2018

The skin is based on Football Manager Base 2018 Dark Skin (thanks to Michaeltmurrayuk).

I added some panels from other skins, plus my personal customizations (like match title bar and some others).

It works very well at 1280x800 / 1366x768 / 1600x900 - 100% zoom.
I tested it at 1920x1080 as well; it works for me, but you can try it and send me a feedback if something goes wrong.

Feel free to share my skin (first please send me a message) and report bugs.

Hi, this tactic was created for Leicester, to be honest focused around Vardy, as I wanted an attacking tactic that would mainly benefit my wingers and strikers in attack.



It worked very well, so I created another save with Blackburn. My target was to get into Premiership in 2 seasons and hopefully avoid relegation with ease in 3rd season.

It was better then expected, dominated both League One and Championship, beating Most Points in a Season record back to back, and finished 8th in 3rd season with largely the same first team players as in 1st season.

A control tactic for Football Manager 2018 with 3 at the back.
Reasonably high defensive line without using the offside trap. Therefore you need your centre-backs to be as fast as possible.
Build up utilizes shorter passing, avoids dribbles and aims to work ball into the box.





For best results, you need:

• Quick CB's & ST's.
  
• Wingers with 15+ work rate and teamwork.
  

Before every game, I recommend asking your right winger to mark the opponents left winger and visa versa.
