What is Catenaccio?

Catenaccio or The Chain is a tactical system in football with a strong emphasis on defence. In Italian, catenaccio means "door-bolt", which implies a highly organised and effective back-line defence focused on nullifying opponents' attacks and preventing goal-scoring opportunities.

Completely recolored Football Manager Dark skin.

This is the skin I started making for myself, but later decided to polish and share it with everyone else!

At the moment it's a recolored skin with Instant Result. In future I may or may not add/redesign different panels, all depends on my free time and will to learn skinning more since this is the very first skin I've made.

I wont be taking requests although you are free to suggest things that should be added. Note that I made this skin for myself, so my taste may be different from yours.

Sports Interactive have just released the fifth hotfix patch for the final retail version of Football Manager 2019.

This update has been in the works for some time now (made available to public beta users). It contains a number of fixes and tweaks, mostly for the match engine.

Released: 11 December 2018

As usual the update is save game compatible, so you don't have to start a new save game. However, any fixes related to competitions rules or schedules require you to start a new game.

To update you will need to close down Football Manager 2019 (or Football Manager Touch 2019) and re-launch...

2D Kits for Flutskin FM 19 - Titlebar and Player Overview Panel - SEASON 2018/19

Many people have asked me how should proceed in order to the FLUTSKIN for display the 2D club kit front in player overview panel.
Thus, with permission of PATRES10 (thanks, my friend!), I decided to do a pack already ready to use in the game.

Here is the 2.0 version of this pack, for SEASON 18/19

The Philosophy

This tactic intends to have a demolishing on attack a rock solid defense and a lethal counter.

A mix between the vertical tiki-taka (you will see lots of short passes and good possession that can range from 55% to 65%) and gegenpress (aggressive and urgent pressing and fast counters).

You will score slow buildup goals with underlaps, counter goals, through pass goals, direct, short...you never know. Your opponent won't too.

Also, it will be common to see the opponent team strangled inside their own box.
