Chant From fanchants

Hi guys,

It was great that I have made my first tactics.

So here is the table after winning the League 1:

I admit that the cup is a more difficult competition than the league itself, especially in lower leagues, but at least we won the league by a big margin from the 2nd.

OK the first tactic that I use is 4-2-3-1 wide.
It is a regular tactic. Let's see the instructions:

I preferred to play wide with shorter passing because it's really helpful when it's raining. I cannot imagine what would happen if I was to play narrow and try to focus on keeping possession... possibly it would fall apart when the weather would be rain or snow...

For the secondary / away tactic, I like to use 4-1-1-4 DM asymmetric:

The reason why I chose these tactics is because I was trying to avoid conceding many goals while playing away from home. Which is also why I have used a holding midfielder; as you can see Dele Alli is the man, he was not bad at all while defending and good for support duties.

OK, here are the instructions:

Again I was trying to play wider, but this time Be More Disciplined was the key because every single position has a duty & I wanted to play safe. The attacking player have to score & the defensive players have to try and keep a clean sheet.

Now here are the results after one season:

Thank you very much for reading and sorry for my bad English. This tactic worked great for my team, but if this tactic does not work for your team please do not blame me. In the end, your creative decisions should lead you to victory...

We are MK,
We are MK,
We are MK, Dons FC
We are MK, super MK,

We are MK, Dons FC
No one likes us, no one likes us,
No one likes us, we don't care,
We are MK,
We are MK,
We are MK Dons FC...

I'm a fan of MK Dons, so do not mind the lyric up there :)

If England did Tika-Taka

We all know England are rubbish at playing tika-taka style of football, but the closest we came to winning a trophy was in Euro '96 with an exciting brand of attacking football.

For this FM15 tactic, I have tried to replicate that with a tika taka element to it.

Hammer Skin for FM15 v1

Hello,

I have created a skin for both Full Mode and FMC Mode.

Please bare in mind there are a couple of known issues which I have not been able to resolve and one is when playing FMC and you click staff on the sidebar it comes up blank, when this happens just click on the relevant drop down arrow above(3rd from right) and select members then all and it will show your your backroom staff, second one is when searching on the titlebar the findings come up in grey which is quite hard to distinguish from the background, please accept my apologies for these, I admit I am not a skin maker but have taken ideas and bits and pieces from other skins to create this.

Special thanks to AlexMorak as it was his skin FMTGW that gave me the ideas and this was the base of the skin and thanks to michaeltmurrayuk as his base skins helped a lot.

Hope you like and please leave any kind of feedback.

How to install the Hammer skin on FM15

Step 1

Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract the folders.

Step 2

Move the extracted folder "Hammer Skin" to:
Win Vista/7/8/10: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win 98/ME: C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins\
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create folder "skins" if it doesn't exist already.

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Hammer Skin" as option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Use the Clear Cache button, then hit the Confirm button.

Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

Pais Supremo FManager 2015

Pais Supremo FManager 2015: A League with 180 world countries, in 8 divisions.

Give me your opinion about this League in the end of this post. It's very important to keep the project quality.

Concept - Join the biggest teams of various countries, give them the same economy power allowing they equalize their reputation over time.

GamePlay - In this format the game should become more attractive, interesting and less boring. It will be very common in the game, verify top teams like Barcelona, Man Utd and other, getting down in their divisions, while you will see team getting up from down divisions and reaching the top. If you like to start a career without a team or with small teams and then going up, this is the best way.

Country - This league was created on Wales that now is called "País Supremo" (Supreme Country), which was removed from United Kingdom. It was added new languages, like spanish, portuguese, italian and french besides to keep the english.

Cities - It was created new cities and regions to add the teams, splitting the teams by speak languages. If a team comes from a different native language from the above said, the team was set at english area.

Finance - All team starts with R$ 250 M (around $90 M nowadays - current value in real life), being R$ 100 M (around $30 M) to tranfers. It was removed all team sponsorships and inserted equal new sponsorship to all teams. individual TV deals was also removed. The teams will receive only money from the league, which varies between R$ 100 M (around $30 M) at 8ª division and R$ 180 M (around $ 60M) at 1ª division

Reputation - It wasn't edited anything about it in the teams.

Divisions - There are 8 divisions, being 7 of them made with 20 team each and 1 division made with 40 teams. It's downgraded 6 team from each division, except from the 8th division, where no team is downgraded.

Cups - There are 3 differents Cups:
1ª Cup: It's the main Cup, played by team from 1ª, 2ª and 3ª division. Give you a place on Champions League.
2ª Cup: Play team from 4ª, 5ª and 6ª division
3ª Cup: Play team from 7ª and 8ª division

Super Cup - Played by the winner from 1ª division and 1ª Cup. Give much money

Champs Cup: Played by 16 team which was classified by all division (1ª and 2ª place from each one). The first round is played in group style, passing then to playoffs style on the next rounds. The money gain is good if you classify to the next round.

Teams - There are 180 team from 53 countries

Place for country - There isn't a defined concept to quantify places from each country. It was considered only the country and team tradition, but every continent has a represent. Check the list below:

South Africa 3 - Germany 7 - Saudita Arabic 5 - Argentina 6 - Australia 2 - Austria 3 - Belgium 5 - Belarus 1 - Bolivia 1 - Brazil 12 - Bulgaria 2 - Chile 3 - China 3 - Chipre 1 - Colombia 3 - South Korea 4 - Costa Rica - Croacia 2 - Denmark 1 - Egypt 1 - United Arab Emirates 4 - Ecuador 2 - Scotland 2 - Slovakia 1 - Slovenia 1 - Spain 9 - EUA 4 - France 7 - Greece 3 - Netherlands 4 - Hungary 1 - England 8 - Israel 2 - Italy 8 - Japan 4 - Marrocos 1 - Mexico 6 - Norway 2 - Paraguay 3 - Peru 3 - Poland 2 - Portugal 4 - Qatar 4 - Czech Republic 3 - Romania 3 - Russia 5 - Servia 2 - Sweden 1 - Switzerland 2 - Tunisia 1 - Turkey 4 - Ukraine 4 - Uruguay 4

Edition out "País Supremo" - It was edited all leagues where there were teams removed, continuing this league available to be played

If you will play "Pais Supremo" I suggest you to add other league, like Spanish, Italian, Brazilian and other to make the game more interesting. The team that was kept on the original country is powerful now.

IMPORTANT: You must select "Supremos" as 2nd nationality to be able to get a job in this "country".

I hope you like it ...

This is my second database on this site.

So, in this database, the top players in the world are all in the Premier League! Each team has a sugar daddy, a balance of 1 billion pounds, and the top reputation. BUT there's a catch. Each team is under a transfer embargo until 2020.

Who will succeed? Who will suffer? All foreign players (apart from the ones I added) have been removed from teams, leaving only English players for HG reasons. Enjoy! :)

Installation instructions

Move the .fmf file to your editor data folder:
Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2015 > editor data

Start a new save:
A little window will pop up saying there is X enabled editor files.

Manchester United's 4-3-1-2 Fluid Attack

$
0
0

Goalkeeper
A basic keeper in-between the sticks to stop the opposition from putting the ball in the back of the net.
The keeper is suppose to ease of tackles in order to prevent penalties and the possibility of getting red carded.
Also, distributing the ball to center-backs will ensure that you keep possession of the ball to restart attacks from the back.

Center Backs
Both are limited defenders who clear the ball from danger areas and win the ball back without giving away free kicks.
One is a stopper who pushes forward to breakup opposition attacks while the other stays behind to cover.

Wing Backs
Wing Backs are very very important to this tactic. They provide you with the extra width need to spray in crosses for your attackers.

Central Midfielders
Two of your midfielders will stay deep in the field to support the defense with you are on the attack.
Since your wing backs are up high on the field, your defense is vulnerable to counter attacks. The job of the
two midfielders is to fill the holes left by the wing backs. The third midfielder will join the attack but will stay on the edge of the
box.

Shadow Striker
The shadow striker will provide your attack with an extra body. This formation allows for fluid movement up front where the shadow striker
or your main strikers can get into position for a high percentage shot on goal.

Strikers
A false nine and a defensive forward. First is the defensive forward because it is a head scratchier for most. But, for this tactic to work, you need
a defensive forward to chase down defenders when you lose the ball while attacking. Since your wing backs are pushing forward to support the attack, the back-line of your defense is left weak, so once you lose the ball while attacking, the defense forward will chase down the defender who has the ball. Putting pressure on the defender will put the defender in a position to either clear it or make desperate pass to players up front. The false nine striker allows you to have another option for your shadow striker to pass to while attacking. Constant movement of the ball will put at least one of your players through to have a shot on goal.

The is the team instruction.
I would rather have the ball than not. Having the ball means that the opposition does not have it to craft out chances for a goal. Once you have the ball, working it to the box is crucial for the front lines. With shorter passes, they will pass their way to the oppositions half for a shot or pass it out wide to the wing backs for a cross. We are more expressive, allowing our more creative players more freedom to play their game while the whole team close down the opposition to win back the ball.

At the end of the season, we scored a total of 110 goals and allowed 31 goals. The defense could be a lot better. It is up to you to experiment with the defense. However, the wing backs are crucial.

As you can see, Falcao finished as the top scorer with Rooney not far behind.

Attacking 4-2-3-1 with PSV

I created this tactic to get the best out of Depay, Wijnaldum and Maher. Depay had to be retrained to play central but he was already competent so didn't take long.

I took charge of PSV 10 games into the league season and they were some way adrift in 14th place. We quickly hit our stride and finished as champions.

My main concern has been getting my best players to sign longer contracts before they get their heads turned by bigger teams offering higher wages. Hopefully I can either keep these players together long enough to make an impression in Europe or sell for a high amount

FM Guide: How to search for players in lower divisions

$
0
0
I don't know if this will be useful for fm fanatics, but I decided to share my way of searching for players. This tip is very useful for lower division clubs - clubs which board doesn't allow club scouts to roam around the world to find good players.

Because of the low level of club scouting knowledge when you start the game your shortlist is obviously very short, usually only players from that country are on shortlist. For example i started playing with BSS and BSN division clubs and only English players are there. It's very tough to create good team with English players, because they don't want to play in BSS or BSN - they have higher reputation and reject any offer. To solve this problem and to find players from different country I use the following method... quick search option.

Using Quick Search

When you use quick search option it says that you need to put three alphabetic letters in the search to actually start searching. Because of that you must know player name at least a little bit to find player. If you put RO in search it won't search, but if you put RON it will start searching (rule of three) - then you can find players which name or surname consist of RON letters. Problem is that not a lot of players have RON in their name/surname. Which letter is the most common in peoples names? Letter A! Most names or surnames have letter A in it and to find 90 % of players in your database without scouts or shortlist you just do the following ...

In quick search put ... A(space)(space) ... now search engine will look for players which have letter A in their name or surname - which is basically 90 % of all players. We are not done yet! Click on first player - scroll down to the last player - hold shift - and click the last player. It will select all of the players which search engine found - a lot of players!

Now you click the right mouse button and add all selected players to your shortlist. It will take a while but all players that you find will be added to your shortlist. Just go to shortlist and there you will have most of the players in database on your shortlist. Ask your assistant to sort unrealistic players and start making signings! You will have players from other countries on your shortlist and not just players from country you are playing! Some sick players are willing to play in bss or bsn english division.

Extra tip!

Because you subscribe to a lot of players your inbox will be flood with news of those players! To avoid that - go to manage subscription - discard all or delete subscription and confirm action. Now you won't have ton of mail on your inbox and you will have huge shortlist.

I use this technique on low division clubs like - serbian second/first division ... asian clubs ... english 5th division ... basically every club that board doesn't allow scout roaming around the world.

Please give some feedback and hopefully you enjoy the read! See ya :)

About the FMTGW Skin

This skin is created by AlexMorak for fmtgw.gr, one of the biggest FM Communities in Greece. It is the official SI skin with instant result button, modified enough to give the user a different view in-game.

The reason why we just modified a skin and not created our own is simple; this year 's default skin is the best default skin ever existed in FM, but with small changes, it will be the perfect skin for our favourite game.

As you can see, there are small but very important changes, such as a background selector, an option to select small or normal sidebar, a different look of the stars in player report and more.

We think that this skin is the perfect experience for the user, hope you 'll like it and agree with us!

How to add FMTGW skins on FM 2015

Step 1

Download the skin and extract the file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Step 2

Place the extracted folders into your skins folder:
\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see FMTGW Light Skin, FMTGW Light Skin (Small Sidebar), FMTGW Dark Skin and FMTGW Dark Skin (Small Sidebar) as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Hit the Confirm button.

Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

About FMTGW

FMTGW is the first greek youtube/twitch channel. It started from only one person and now it has 10 streamers on twitch, a very big audience and its own site, Fmtgw.gr. Our community grows faster and faster and we are very proud of this. The creation of this skin is just a first step on a new path where we want to create our own graphics team and grow more. We hope that our first attempt will be much appreciated from you guys!

FMF Converter (FM to FIFA converter)

FMF Converter v1.0 is OUT NOW !!

FMF Converter is currently available in French and English.

Why use this tool?

It’s been a long time that I wished developed this kind of tool. Certainly, there are one or two for now, but they are difficult to use and understand.
And particularly, methods of calculation of attributes are not pushed, which results in unrealistic attributes.
Deleting the Creation Center in FIFA 16 next-gen also leads to more difficulty to hope integrate its player in FIFA.
The richness of Football Manager’s database is a strong point of the serie.
In addition, scouts football teams also consult the game to inquire about a player. This proves the efficiency of the entire FM particular characteristics of the players.

Who is this software for?

As you have understood, this tool will be for everyone. Both modders who want to integrate new players, as novices who wish to create or integrate players/teams.
If you are modders, please mention in the credits of your patch the software name and my nickname. (FMF Converter by Serial42)

How can you support me

The software will of course, in no case show the exact methods of calculations that I used.
However, you can report any bugs or react on the software to suggest and propose new ideas for improvement.
More, you can donate directly on FMF Converter to encourage my work or if you simply like the software.

I hope that this tool will make you happy :)

Hello everyone, it's good to be back with my databases.

Last year my FM14 database was downloaded a total of 170,000 times and for that I like to thank you all, especially fmscout.com for supporting my work since the very beginning and making it known to the Football Manager community.

This year I'm hoping to be bigger and better. As always I will be working around the world with player transfers, managers, coaches, etc.

There are 84,470 changes to the database as of 6th October, 2015, including 933 non-league transfers and managers in England and Scotland.

  • BRAND NEW - Created 100 real life non-league players that SI have missed
  • English Level 12 leagues and cups return fixed and ready to play
  • Fixed FA Cup and added FA Vase
  • Added 20 new wonderkids
  • Changed stats for 23 players
  • Salford City updated with the class of '92
  • Cardiff back to Blue
  • Changed some team names
  • Promotions and relegations in Europe. More leagues will be changed soon as the seasons are over.
  • Promotions and Relegations in England from level 1 right to level 11
  • Parma now play in Serie D

You will not find a database around that covers every playable and non playable leagues in the FM community.

And once again I will be working on non-league changes in England, Scotland and a host of other countries.
Sadly I had to remove level 11/12 for minor bugs. Hopefully sort the bugs out and return level 11/12

Hope you enjoy my database.
