FM16 Megapack 80 Leagues by claassen

$

Changes to 19/12/2015:
- All leagues are compatible with the patch 16.2
- Add squad registration dates for many 2nd and 3rd division.
- Change rules in Azerbaijan and change rules minors for 3-4 other countries.
- ASB Premiership in New-Zealand expanded at 10 teams, like IRL.
- Add Baltic Cup

Like for FM2013, FM2014 and FM2015, I'll make an effort to deliver some updates of missing countries, trying to make them as realistic as possible on the competition formats and the different rules (limit foreigner, transfer windows, league sorting, dates, break period, effectifs rules, match rules, Bosman law, etc).

ATTENTION: Don't select more 69 updates of countries in same time! Otherwise, there is a crash dump to the creation of the game.
You must extracted the files .fmf directly in the editor data folder without the 7 subfolders.
You can select 74 of my updates (and all original leagues: 69+51= 120 playable countries) in same time (69 countries, CFU Championship, Oceania Champions League and the 3 International Competitions)

Choose "Custom" during the creation of the game or like this:

With these updates and the original leagues, there is therefore now playable with a maximum of realism on the format of competitions and rules:
- All countries in Europe
- All countries in South America (1st and 2nd division)
- The 25 best countries in Asia
- The 15 best countries in Africa
- The 13 best countries in North America (All nations playing CONCACAF Champions League are represented) and the CFU Club Championship (all Carribean Nations are represented).
- The 10 best countries in Oceania
- Addition of 3 International Competitions.

Enjoy. :D

Liverpool Based 4-2-3-1 Tactic for FM16

$

0
This is the third episode of "Tactic Tuesday" on the FMScout channel created by Addicted2FM.

I have created this 4-2-3-1 to try and get the best out of the players that start at Liverpool in FM16. I want to start by saying this is not an emulation of Klopp's "gegenpressing" style and is aimed at solely getting the best out of the Liverpool players and getting as many as the best players into the team as possible!

Providing the whole team is fit, this is the team the tactic was created for:

Simon Mignolet
Nathaniel Clyne - Martin Skrtel - Mamadou Sakho - Alberto Moreno
Jordan Henderson - Joe Allen
Daniel Sturridge - Roberto Firmino - Philippe Coutinho
Christian Benteke

If you wish to download this tactic click the Download Now button and if you have any feedback feel free to comment on here or on the YouTube video.

Football Manager 2016 Trophies Megapack UPDATED

$

0
I am proud to announce a huge breakthrough in Football Manager 2016. Trophies.

We always wanted more and we can now have Real Trophies for all nations in the game.
IMHO this is massive as we have always wanted more than the handful of trophies Sports Interactive provided.

The whole pack has now had a complete overhaul, all images have been re-sized, all cuts have been tidied up or replaced plus new Trophies added.
It is for this reason the old links have been removed and replaced with one new one, I recommend anyone who downloaded the original to download again to make sure you have the best pack possible and delete the old previous version.

The whole pack has now reached 245 Trophies.

If you want to add to the pack feel free.
Look for the trophies which are missing and cut them out (if you can).
I have some cutting skills but would rather not do it myself.

Huge thanks to the following for their contributions to the pack:
Hammer9, Patres10 and Nuno Rebelo and me of course.

Thanks,
DazS8

EDIT
As Updates seem to confuse some people somewhat, I have instead Updated the red Download button
with the whole new pack.

JmG's Control 4-1-2-3

$
0
0
So, this tactic was created to play at a slow tempo and control the game, without necessarily controlling possession. You still create a lot of chances, but more patience and passing is the aim of the game.

You start off with a 4-5-1 basically, which when in possession will pretty much turn out to be a 2-5-3. This is because the wingers cut inside (Inside Forward Role) and the Fullbacks are set to attack, so they push up to midfield and above, making the midfield packed, and having 3 good attacking options moving inside. With this you're still able to control the width of the entire field.

Yes, you are a little open to counter attacks, but as long as you're controlling the game, you shouldn't be conceding a lot of goals.

Player Roles
There's nothing very special about these, all set to help keep the ball on the ground and build up the attack from deep. The Midfield is pretty much all playmaker roles, the Roaming Playermaker is a key player, the heartbeat as it's told on the description. Sweeper Keeper is another that I'm not sure is popular with a lot of people, but for this tactic it offers a bit more help in defence to cut out the counter attacking threats.

Team Shape
Very low tempo with the entire width of the field, and as mentioned before, with the fullbacks pushing higher up the field, it'll be sure you wont be caught short on that part.

Defence
Slightly higher defensive line, we don't want this set to the highest because it will increase the counter attacking threat. Slightly high gives you enough that you can still stay close to the rest of the team up field. Closing down is set to the highest, pressuring the opposition constantly to win the ball back, all part of controlling the game, forcing risky/poor passes. Tighter marking and preventing short GK distribution are other forms of pressing the opposition to control the game.I prefer my players to get stuck into tackles, receiving cards isn't a big issue. But this could be set to stay on feet, with the same effect, but may vary the effectiveness.

Build Up
Playing out of the defence is the best way to go, keeping the ball on the ground and picking out passes to move forward bit by bit. Personal preference if you want to "pass into space" or not, I use it as I have a lot of players with great vision and great passing ability, so if they see a key pass into space, they take it. If you don't have a player like that, best to take it off and allow it to create naturally with short passing. "Be more expressive" again, a lot of players with great creativity that I am comfortable with them having that freedom, but you can uncheck this if it doesn't suit your squad. It wont affect the overall gameplan, the only thing it does, along with not passing into space, is give you a lot more of a solid approach.

Attack
Look for overlap, work ball into box. They all speak for themselves really. Overlap, because we have those inside forwards cutting inside and the fullbacks pushing high up the field, over-powering the defence of the opposition. Low crossing is to help keep the ball on the ground, as well as maintaining control of the ball throughout, rather than pumping the ball into the penalty area to lose possession.

Set Pieces

Corners, keeping them short, keep the ball, building slowly to move into the box, also, with Run at defence set, this can create some lovely runs from the wingers, pushing into the box with the ball from the corner. Always keep your fullbacks and DM back for set-pieces, ensures you have pace and presence if you lose the ball quickly, also having one of the CM's lurking outside the area, giving a better passing option.

Free Kicks, set to near post to help keep the ball, my personal preference is to have it set to "short", this allows the team to spread out and utilise the full width of the field, either choice wont affect your tactics, so do as you please here.

My first tactic, so any constructive criticism is welcome.

Dominating Attacking Soccer 3-2-4-1

$

If you want to play attacking soccer, dominate all aspects of the game and scores a lot of goals, try this attacking 3-2-4-1 tactic.
Also using this tactic is an interesting adventure and will be a new experience in Football Manager.

I played two seasons with Bayern by using this tactic and you can guess what the result was! I broke all of the opponents and win everything! But you need to be more cautious in Champions League and sometimes change this tactic to 4-1-2-2-1 to slow down and control the game as well. I always start the game with this tactic but depends on what happened in the game in some occasion I changed to 4-1-2-2-1 in the last 30minutes of the game for keep the result with lower risk.

The Philosophy of this tactic is to keep the ball near opponent’s penalty box and cut inside with dribbling skills or create a chance with an incisive pass into penalty box. The opposition’s defense needs to man mark all of your 5 attackers and close all of spaces and zones simultaneously to ensure that you can’t dribble them or pass. But everyone know that’s impossible!!!

For this tactic you need technically gifted players in wings and F9, players with good teamwork and passing in midfield and highly work rated players in defensive positions.

These are most important skills of players in each role for this tactic:

Sweeper Keeper:
Goalkeeping Skills, Passing

Ball Playing Defender:
Quickness, Tackling, Positioning, Passing

Full Back:
Quickness, Tackling, Work Rate, Crossing

Defensive Midfielder:
Work Rate, Positioning, Tackling, Passing

Roaming Playmaker:
Vision, Work Rate, Passing, Decision

Advanced Playmaker:
Vision, Passing, Decision

Shadow Striker:
Finishing, Off the Ball

Inside Forward:
Dribbling, Technique, Quickness, Finishing

Winger:
Dribbling, Technique, Quickness, Crossing, Passing

False Nine:
Technique, Teamwork, Finishing

The intended purpose of this tactic is to keep the ball and patiently wait for a chance to strike, i only had very few players with passing and teamwork above 15 so don't worry about that too much, this will work brilliantly against teams that have weaker\slightly better midfield than yours so don't try to outplay Barca\Madrid for example with this tactic when you're coaching a mid-table\top team in a weaker league because it is highly unlikely that this will work if their midfield is far superior.

This tactic allows wing backs to advance and wingers to stay narrow crowding the midfield and making a lot of passing options, it uses a very high defensive line to close the gaps between the defense and midfield and make it easier to keep the ball. Your 2 most creative players are supposed to be the DLP and the Attacking Midfield as they are the only 2 who have the freedom to make risky passes. I also recommend using a 3rd creative player for Central Midfielder or at least someone with 15+ passing to minimize the risk of miss passes.

I prefer a complete forward for this tactic as his presence always results in more goals but a False 9 or a DLF should also work fine.

Some results and stats using this tactic:
